i've been on this for a few days now but still can't find a way of doing this. the closest i got to when googling, is that i found mfcmapi with which i can log into a session and see the search folders under the search root folder. i can also see the restriction
text which is in some nasty programming language as ugly as swahili :) i can see that the code contains the keywords/addresses that i used in the search query definition.
but how do i export this and recreate these folders on another machine?
i know these are virtual folders, i don't want to export any actual contents, i'm looking for a way to export the search string or something, so i can quickly recreate the search folders on several computers in a specific team in our company, without having
to manually recreate them.
using outlook 2010
not using exchange server
i originally wanted to use IMAP folders with subfolders (server side) and whole neat folder structure with messages being sorted into folders based on rules, but that proved quite a pain to achieve. so single mailbox+search folders is the alternative i'm looking
